F2Pool Monthly Review November 2019

It's been an exciting month for our team in November. New pools launched, new features supported and involvement in a number of mining events.

Product updates

• Equihash Profit-Switching Pool (ZEC/ZEN) has launched, to maximize the mining revenue for our ZEC and ZEN miners. Learn more: Equihash.
• 🇷🇺 Russia (Moscow) BTC mining pool server has launched, increasing the number of our BTC servers to 6 including China, Germany, Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore, and the USA. Start Mining Bitcoin
• Verified Mining Farms page added to our website, to help connect miners with mining farms they can trust to host their machines. Currently, six Chinese mining farms are listed, please submit information about your farm if you would like it listed here. View listings: Verified Mining Farms Page.

Pool updates

• Our Nervos (CKB) mining pool launched immediately at mainnet launch and we are the largest CKB pool in the world since then. We believe CKB is a very promising project and recommend our GPU miners to look into it. Learn more: Nervos Mainnet Launch.
• Our Verge (XVG) mining pool has relaunched, due to the huge demand from our community. XVG can be mined by five different algorithms, making it a very versatile choice for miners. Start Mining: Verge (XVG) Mining Guide.
• Our BHD and AION mining pools are now closed, due to low demand from our miners. Miners - please consider other currencies to mine.
• Monero (XMR) hard fork has completed successfully on November 30th, with a new ASIC-resistant mining algorithm named RandomX. Learn more: RandomX Guide.
• Ethereum (ETH) scheduled upgrade will occur at block number 9,069,000, which is predicted to occur on December 7th, 2019. Our pool is upgraded and ready to go! Read more: Istanbul Upgrade Announcement.

Marketing updates

• The International Forum of Digital Mining 2019 was held by TerraCrypto in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan on November 14th with over 300 attendees. F2Pool was a sponsor and speaker at the event. It was a fantastic mining-focused event, and they are holding another one in Moscow on December 7th.
• A Blockchain Mining Meetup was held at Tsinghua University, the №1 University in China, on November 21st. Along with the recent positive news from the Chinese Government, more and more young people in China are becoming interested in blockchain and Bitcoin. Thomas Heller, our Global Business Director, participated in the discussion panel related to the latest trends in the mining industry.
• The Global Encryption Technology Summit 2019 was held in Shenzhen, China on November 14th. We were humbled to receive an award for the most influential mining pool in 2019.
• Our F2Pool YouTube channel has now launched, with our first video a simple tutorial for new miners to use our Mobile App. We will share the latest mining trends and knowledge, upcoming projects for our miners. Watch the first video here: F2Pool Mobile App Tutorial.
